The docuseries highlights his experiences as a principle dancer at the National Ballet of Canada, exploring both the challenges and triumphs he faces in the highly competitive world of ballet.

My Mother’s Son unites South African brothers Siphe November and Mthuthuzeli November in performance for the first time since their childhood in Zolani.
Both talented dancers, the brothers were separated as children to study at ballet schools a world apart. In this moving work filmed at the Battersea Arts Centre, they come together to perform a beautiful piece inspired by their relationship as brothers.
